A Very Long Winter...

has it been. And very busy as well. Finally with the melt of snow and the mountain passes traversable, I allowed myself a fleetingly short vacation (two days). Gone to place with no cell service or traffic or people, I roamed on two wheels with little more than a sleeping bag, an ax and a bottle of rye (and a camera, of course).
